SF4D series, applicable to IP67, IP65 (IEC) NEMA Type 13 (NEMA 250)*1 is used as standard. Not only is it waterproof, but it also prevents the ingress of liquids*2 such as coolant, and perfectly protects the interior.

*1: Type 13 for non-explosion-proof containers specified in NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association: United States Electrical Equipment Association (NEMA) and NEMA 250 "Enclosure for Electrical Equipment (1,000V Maximum)" is the standard.

The light allowance can be displayed by the "Steady Light Indicator" and "Digital Indicator". When the equipment is installed, it is possible to adjust the optical axis appropriately and manage the construction quality.

In addition, when the optical axis is offset due to fouling or loosening of the sensing surface, it can be checked by the indicator light, which can be flexibly applied to work inspection and protection maintenance work.

Optical axis adjustment mode

The colors of the upper and lower modules show whether the optical axis has been aligned or not. The front and sides are highly recognizable, so there is no need to worry about misidentification when setting them up at long distances.

The optical axis irradiated by the laser head can be adjusted by using the optional optical axis adjuster "SF-LAT-2N".

Three colors can be illuminated by an external signal: green, red, and orange. It is used to indicate the job or display the working status of the device.

[Stable Light Indicator] = [Abundant Light]?

When installing a light curtain on a device or checking whether the light curtain is working properly, the [Stable Light Receiving Indicator] can be used flexibly on site.

However, even if the [Stable Light Indicator] is on, it is not possible to tell if [Unstable Light Receiving State] is close or if the amount of light is sufficient.

In the SF4D series, [Stability] and [Unstable] are displayed, but also numeric values are used to display [Adequacy]. [Numerical management] ensures stable operation in a state of high ampleness. When the device is operating, the amount of light received may decrease due to oil mist, etc., so if you check it with the numerical indicator, you can know the light adequacy of the safety light curtain sensor and clean it up in time.

Inherits the well-received front cable of the previous model. The cable can also be removed by attaching the safety light curtain sensor body to the device. It is easier to replace in the event of a wire break.

Up to 5 units can be connected in series. (1 main sensor + 4 sub-sensors)

The optical axis can be extended to up to 256 axes. When the equipment is expanded and the detection width (protection height) is expanded, it is possible to perform protection of multiple locations in one system to improve convenience.
